Day 23! I decided to book another night at the hostel and hang out in Nha Trang a bit longer!
After a late night out, a relaxing beach day was in order.
But before we could do that Tom and I went out for a nice breakfast of Pho!

Pho is eaten for every meal in Vietnam! And it was the perfect meal for a windy beach morning.
We finished eating and made our way to the beach!

The weather in the morning was cloudy and windy but on the warmer side.
Periodically it would start to sprinkle and then it would stop… and then repeat again. The fun of rainy season I suppose.
Eventually it started raining so much that we made our way to a restaurant to seek shelter and some food!

We went to a Greek restaurant where I chowed down on a chicken wrap! It was alright but I’ve definitely had better.
I also bought Tom and I some mangosteen (which I’ve missed having since leaving Thailand) and Tom got us some mango smoothies as well!

We made our way back to the beach and this time the sun was in full force! The waves were also in full force and they sometimes were easily reaching 10-15 feet tall.

Tom and I ended up relaxing by the beach all afternoon chatting about life, traveling, and everything else we could think of.
Today’s our last day hanging out but I’ve really enjoyed getting to know him and becoming friends!
I look forward to the next time I’m able to go to England and get to hang out with him in Bristol!
While we were hanging out at the beach a familiar face showed up, Yaro who I met in Mui Ne!

Our other friend Daniella, from Denmark, came and joined us on the beach a bit too! We ended up chatting for a few hours and then headed back to the hostel to shower and get ready for the evening!
I worked on my blog for a bit and then went to dinner with a new friend, Laura from Ireland!

I ended up getting a beef Banh Mi, but it was different than any of the Banh Mi’s I’ve previously gotten.
The bread was flat and the meat wasn’t inside it. But the meal was insanely tasty!
When we got back to the hostel there was a lot of drinking games being played and I participated in musical flip cup.
I actually ended up getting second place to the guy that’s sleeping in the bunk below me 😂
I ended off the night chatting with new friends at my hostel and going to bed on the early side, which I really needed after the past couple of long nights.
I’ll be spending another full day in Nha Trang tomorrow and then I probably will be driving to the next town the day after… but we’ll see!
