Today’s the day!

I’m currently sitting in Ohare airport waiting for my flight to leave to Seoul, South Korea! From there I’ll fly to Bangkok. In just under 24 hours I’ll be starting on a wild adventure that I have no clue what’s in store for me!

But before we talk about that, I have to talk about the lovely weekend I just had celebrating one of my closest friends, Josh!

We got into chicago Friday evening, where we met up with the rest of the bachelor party (and a few others) and had a game night at one of Josh’s favorite Chicago game spots. It was awesome meeting all of his college friends and playing some goofy games!

Saturday started slow, but we ended up exploring downtown and going to the Field museum, where I finally got to see a VERY old friend SUE!

After that we made our way to dinner and drinks at a very good diner. W e bar hopped a few bars as we made our way to our next fun activity 👀

We then went to a show that was a complete surprise for Josh. We got him dressed up in a Jedi robe, which gave him a hint to what we were doing, but nothing could prepare him for what we were going to see. We made our way into the theater where Josh finally saw his first glimpse at what we were doing. The show title in big letters, THE EMPIRE STRIPS BACK.

It ended up being a hilarious and very well thought out show with incredible dancing! Josh loved it and it couldn’t have been a better mix of Josh and classic bachelor party 😂

Sunday lead to a more chill day, where we played more games and hung out. I also randomly ran into a college friend while walking around downtown so we ended up grabbing drinks too (crazy how that stuff works out)!

And now I’m sitting at my gate, boarding in about an hour to take of on a 15 hour flight 🤪 I’m not sure what this adventure has in store for me, but I know it’s going to be a trip I won’t ever forget!

The nerves are slowly setting in, but I know I’m about to meet some awesome people and see some amazing sites!
