Day 352! today was a nice and sunny day in Yamba! But I was pretty tired, so I hung out at home. But now, after buying two camping chairs for a great price for of Facebook marketplace, I have a way to read comfortably anywhere on and around the beach!
I woke up to my alarm at 7am… why? Well, I had been in touch with a Facebook marketplace seller and they were dropping off what I was buying, since I can’t get to them currently.
With sleep still in my eyes, I hobbled my way outside and paid $10 for… some camping chairs!

I got two camping chairs, I really only needed one of them, but I’ll be able to sell them easily for what I paid for when I’m done with them. Or I might just donate them to the house when I leave.
I’ve been struggling to find good spots to read near the beach that have a back rest and/or in the shade. Because of this, I thought it’d be a good idea to get my hands on a cheap chair I could bring to the beach! And these were perfect.
I then promptly went back to sleep! But, not for long unfortunately. I received a text from Coles saying my grocery delivery would be arriving in 30 minutes. So I waited for that to arrive. While waiting, I received a phone call from the delivery driver saying they couldn’t find my address. So I ended up talking them through on how to get to me and went out to the main street again to flag them down.

It took a bit, but eventually the very nice delivery driver was able to hand off my groceries!
It was around 8:30am by this point. So I again, went right back to bed.
I woke back up around 10am to make myself breakfast with my new groceries! I made oats with peanut butter and jelly and eggs on top of Vegemite toast (my avocados weren’t ride enough yet.
For the rest of the morning, I did the usual fractured foot activities. I watched tv and read my book. Both of which have been very captivating!
After multiple on and off short naps too, it was time for lunch I made myself a couple wraps with both tuna and leftover chicken. It was very delicious.
But then 4pm rolled around and it was time for work! Up until now had been a very sunny and warm day. But by my start time, the sky became very gloomy and cloudy. And eventually started raining too.
It was another slow night at work today… but eventually so, it was a rowdy one. Lots of rambunctious bar patrons were coming in and even though there weren’t many people in the bar… it felt like some trouble might stir up. Thankfully that wasn’t the case and everyone stayed civilized.

For dinner, I had another kids steak. It’s a really nice meal for $6. I also treated myself to a little desert when I ordered my food. It was a locally made cookies and cream chocolate ball. I had a bit of a headache throughout the shift, but this treat made it a bunch better.
After I finished, work continued on. But it was a very slow night and we probably had too many people working behind the bar. So it felt like there wasn’t much to do.
But, finally, we closed the bar and it was time to finish cleaning up. After finishing, we played a number of pool games before heading home!
It was another relaxing and solid day! 15 more days until I get this moon boot off! I can’t wait to get back into the ocean and surfing.
